Service Description

Nagayu is the name of a small village located in Oita Prefecture in Japan. Famous for its natural carbonated hot springs. In early times, people in Japan cured injuries and disease by soaking in the natural healing hot springs. Salons all over the world have been using this treatment for years on humans with great results, but it wasn't until recently that it was made available for pets! The Nagayu Skin Therapy System consists of a compressed tablet which contains carbon dioxide, hydrogen, and bicarbonate. The tablet is inserted into a specialized shower head designed to deliver the treatment directly onto the pet’s skin during the final rinse in the bath. We learned about Nagayu through a facebook grooming group, and after reading other groomers success stories and seeing the before and after pictures, we knew we had to try it! For the past several months, we've been testing it out on dogs with severe skin and coat problems, and have had very successful results. We are so excited to bring this product to you! Some of the benefits of Nagayu: Deep cleaning and odor removal The CO2 treatment has the ability to open up clogged pores which may cause odor while preserving the natural moisture levels in your dog’s skin. Medical Issues and Allergies A dog’s skin is 1/3 the thickness of human skin. When the outer layer of the skin is damaged it can cause an imbalance in the skin’s pH levels resulting in scabs, yeast, and oil build-up. Using the CO2 treatment helps maintain the health and quality of your dog’s skins layers. Improved Coat The effect of the bicarbonate ions, hydrogen ions, and citric acid wash off the mineral and silicon dirt clogged in the hair root. This results in a full, silky, and healthy coat.
